科技写作中，经常会把名词作为形容词使用，如：
room temperature（室温）、university researchers（大学研究人员）。
当用一个名词来修饰另一个名词时，意义一般都很清楚。
3个或者多个名词放在一起时，有的时候是很简洁的表达，
如：blood white cell number、 Beijing University medical school student、 prostate （前列腺）cancer patient。
但是，多个名词排在一起，即使表达明确，给人拥挤的感觉；并且有时也会出现意思表达不明确的情况。
因此，避免使用多个名词的修饰方式，可以用介词或其他方式来把它们分开。
如：He wrotethe quality control group reports.（质量控制组报告）
宜改为：He wrote the reports of the quality control group.
The human brain oxygen level is quite high.
宜改为： The oxygen level in human brainis quite high.
Real time PCR selected gene detection methodwas used.（实时PCR筛选基因探测方法）
宜改为：Real time PCR methodwas to detect selected gene.
The positive drug test result patientswere identified.（药检阳性患者）
宜改为：The patientswith positive drug test result were identified.
一般做形容词的名词要用单数，如：
cells membrane（细胞膜） 宜改为：cell membrane
reactions mechanisms （反应机制） 宜改为：reaction mechanisms
nanoparticles suspensions solution （纳米悬浮液）宜改为：nanoparticle suspensions solution。
除非这个名词总是以复数的形式使用，如：
data analysis、 sports injury（运动损伤）。
