故障树分析可靠性工程中常用的一种分析方法。也广泛应用于电力系统可靠性分析。故障树分析是把系统中最不希望发生的故障状态作为故障分析目标,把选定的系统故障状态称为顶事件,然后运用逻辑运算符号和逻辑推理将顶事件逐次分解为比较简单的次级事件,一直追溯到那些原始的、或其故障机理或概率分布都是已知的基本事件为止。因此,故障树实质上就是事件之间的一张逻辑关系图。这种图是一个以顶事件为根,具有若干干枝,一些干枝上又有分枝的类似于树的图形,故名故障树。故障树可以帮助人们对产品和系统的可靠性进行定性和定量评定。由于它直观性强,易于掌握,能解决的问题多,在工程上应用很广。故障树分析法的一般实施步骤是:①选取顶事件;②建立故障树;③求故障树的最小割集;④求系统故障概率。
