机载通信设备飞机上用于通信联络的电子设备。主要包括飞机电台和机内通话器。飞机电台是飞机与地面、飞机与舰艇、飞机与飞机之间通信联络的主要工具，按波长可分为超短波、短波、长波和超长波电台。超短波电台（频率范围为100～156兆赫、225～400兆赫）安装在各类飞机上，通常以调幅话方式工作，用于视距范围内的指挥引导通信。短波电台主要安装在轰炸机、运输机上，一般以单边带方式工作，用于远距通信。超短波调频电台（频率范围为30～88兆赫）和小型短波电台，安装在一些直接支援地面部队作战的飞机上,前者用于陆空协同通信,后者主要在超短波电台受视距限制无法联络时，作指挥引导通信用。 长波、 超长波电台主要安装在遂行对地下、水下通信等特殊任务的飞机上。机内通话器安装在多座飞机上，用于机内飞行人员相互通话，并可通过它接通机载电台，实施对外通信联络。有的还可通过设在飞机外部的插孔，在飞机起飞前与地面人员通话。除以上机载通信设备外，与数字通信、多路通信、卫星通信等新的通信方式相适应的机载通信设备，也已开始应用。机载通信设备的发展趋势，主要是数字化（实现以机载电子计算机为中心的数字通信）和综合化（将单一功能电台综合为多功能电台，进而将飞机电台与其他机载电子设备组成多功能综合电子系统），进一步减小机载通信设备的体积、重量和功耗，提高其可靠性、保密性和抗干扰能力。
