产品寿命周期产品寿命周期产品寿命周期一个产品完成试制定型以后，从投入市场开始，到被淘汰停产为止所经历的时间。它以市场的需求变化为依据。任何一种产品的寿命周期都包括四个阶段，即投入期、成长期、成熟期和衰退期。从投入期到衰退期，产品销售量形成一条曲线，称产品经济寿命曲线。投入期，是新产品投入市场的初始阶段、试销阶段，销售量增长缓慢而不稳定，销售收入不足以弥补生产成本和销售费用，不仅不能提供利润，反会出现亏损。企业要采取有效措施，努力改善工艺，提高生产效率，降低成本，提高质量，尽量缩短这一阶段，使产品尽快进入成长期。成长期，是新产品开始被消费者接受，销售量迅速增长的阶段。这时产量大幅度上升，成本下降，利润迅速增长，是决定性阶段，企业务必采取措施，促使产品高速成长并进入成熟期。这一阶段年销售量增长率可达10%以上。成熟期，是产品的主要销售阶段。产品在这个阶段所提供的利润达到最高水平。这一阶段的年销售量增长率可达1%~5%。衰退期，是产品逐渐老化，不能适应市场需要，销售量锐减，直至为市场所淘汰的阶段。这一阶段年销售量不是增长，而是下降。企业应当积极采取措施延长产品寿命周期，其措施有:①改进产品包装、装演及外观质量，提高产品的吸引力。②对产品做部分设计更改并扩大产品服务对象。③开发产品的用途，发展一物多用，以促进销售量的增长。④改进产品结构，提高基本功能、辅助功能，开拓新市场，争取新用户，以形成产品寿命周期的再循环。如以上措施不见效，企业就应做好下马准备，该收即收，把力量及早转移，用于创新方面。研究产品寿命周期及其各阶段的特点，有利于企业进行正确的经营决策，抓住时机，获取最大经济利益，并可以指导和规划新产品的开发工作，以保持企业竞争力和利润水平。
