逻辑与历史的统一辩证逻辑的方法之一。历史的指客观现实的历史发展过程（包括自然界和人类社会）以及人类认识客观现实的历史（包括科学史、哲学史、思维史等）；逻辑的指历史发展过程在思维中概括的反映。逻辑与历史的统一是指思维的逻辑应当概括地反映历史发展过程的内在必然性。逻辑与历史的统一的方法要求人们在科学研究和在建立科学理论体系时，要揭示对象发展过程与认识发展过程的历史规律性；在安排理论体系各个概念、范畴的逻辑顺序时，必须符合被考察对象历史发展的顺序。关于逻辑与历史的统一的思想，首先是由G.W.F.黑格尔提出来的。他认为逻辑概念的发展与哲学体系的发展是一致的。但是，他把每一种哲学体系仅仅看作是绝对理念发展的特殊阶段。因此，黑格尔的逻辑与历史的统一只是停留在纯粹思想的范围，其实质乃是唯心主义的。马克思和恩格斯从唯物主义的基本立场出发，批判改造了黑格尔的逻辑与历史的统一的方法，使之成为科学的辩证逻辑的方法。基本内容 逻辑与历史的统一的基本内容大体包括：①理论的逻辑进程与客观现实的历史发展进程相一致。恩格斯说："历史从哪里开始，思想进程也应当从哪里开始，而思想进程的进一步发展不过是历史过程在抽象的、理论上前后一贯的形式上的反映"（《马克思恩格斯选集》第2卷，第122页）。②科学理论的逻辑进程与关于对象认识发展的历史进程相一致。各门科学的概念、范畴的发展与其理论的历史发展进程相一致；③思维科学的理论与认识史、思想史相一致；个体的思维规律与整个人类思维发展规律相一致；儿童智力发展规律与整个人类思维发展规律相一致。逻辑与历史的统一,是在总的发展趋势上的统一,这种统一包含着差别。因为历史发展常常包含着无数的细节和偶然因素,甚至通过迂回曲折的道路表现其规律;思维的逻辑则是对历史的总结和概括，它撇开历史发展的各种细节和偶然因素，以"纯粹"的理论形态把握历史发展的规律，它是"经过修正的"历史。历史方法与逻辑方法 运用逻辑的与历史的统一的方法，要求在科学研究中辩证地处理历史方法和逻辑方法的相互关系。历史方法是依照对象发展的自然进程揭示其规律，属于描述性的方法。逻辑方法则用概念、范畴、理论等形式概括反映对象发展的规律，属于理论思维的方法。逻辑方法侧重从"完全成熟而具有?浞缎问降姆⒄沟闵?"考察对象。它具有以下的重要的意义：①只有当被考察的对象发展到成熟、各种矛盾充分暴露的时候,才能看清楚对象的各个部分、各个环节的联系,以及它们在整体中的地位和作用，才利于科学理论体系的建立；②获取有关对象发展到最高点的知识，是了解该对象的过去历史的一种有效手段。从成熟点看对象的过去，可以比较清楚地认识对象发展的内在联系，包括那些处于萌芽状态或表现得模糊不清的东西。历史方法和逻辑方法的辩证关系表现在：①逻辑的分析要以历史发展为基础，历史的描述要以逻辑联系为依据;②任何一门科学不能只用历史方法或逻辑方法,即使是以历史方法为主的历史科学，也不能排斥逻辑方法；同样，即使以逻辑方法为主的理论科学，也不能排斥历史方法。
